The Garima Scheme is introduced to ensure protection & welfare of Core Sanitation Workers dealing with faecal matter in toilets, Septic Tank, sewer and treatment facilities.

Key Component of the Scheme include:

	Ensure safty and service delivery system.
	Setting up of "Emergency Response Sanitation Unit" (ERSU).
	Services in Confined space.
	Provision of PPE & safety devices.
	Provision of appropriate cleaing devices.
