CITY PLANNING UNIT

The City planning is the planning and design of all the new buildings, roads, and parks in a place in order to make them attractive and convenient for the people who live in the city. It is an organized arrangement (as of streets, parks, and business and residential areas) of a city. The City planning projects include the large-scale master planning of empty sites or Greenfiled projects as well as small-scale interventions and refurbishments of existing structures, buildings and public spaces.

Innouguration of Planning Section at Rourkela Municipal Corporation

The City Planning under Rourkela Development Authority has transffered to Rourkela Municipal Corporaiton vide Govt. Letter No.14749, 17.08.2019 and function it from 30th August 2019 at Rourkela Municipal Corporation Office.
